Humidity chip
The single use humidity chip, which contains 4 % pure water, is a relative humidity stabilizer for the Zeoss sterilization system and provides required humidity for sterilization.
It ensures that the moisture inside the liner bag is in the required range of 35% to 90% throughout the sterilization cycle.
Humidity is required for EtO to be an effective sterilant. In heated cabinets, a humidity chip must always be used. However, their use guarantees efficient sterilization without having to evaluate and monitor the ambient conditions.
