Special Hinged Jaw
- The Caiman features a jaw engineered like no other. The lower jaw hinge causes the tip of the instrument to close first – capturing tissue and preventing slippage. This unique design then allows the upper and lower jaws to compress tissue in parallel, creating even compression forces distal to proximal.
Versatile Jaw Design
- Caiman is the only RF sealing device with an articulating jaw, resulting in an instrument that is both powerful and agile, easing navigation through difficult anatomy and tight angles.
- Only Caiman’s 26.5 mm jaws can grab and seal large 7mm diameter vessels, complex, tissue bundles, spot weld, or seal and cut areas as small as 1 mm.
