Trocar cannulas have a magnetic valve and come with the option of blunt or safety shield obturator.

Laparoscopic Equine Trocar

Specially designed equine trocars.   Trocar shafts come in 5mm, 11mm or 13mm in diameter and all are 21cm in length.
Trocar cannulas have a magnetic valve and come with the option of blunt or safety shield obturator.

  • The inner diameter of the trocar is .5mm smaller than the outer diameter
  • This trocar will accept Karl Storz, Dr. Fritz, Ethicon and Covidien 10mm instruments
  • The 5mm and 11mm trocars will not accept 12mm Endo GIA or Caiman Aesculap 12mm articulating vessel sealer.  Please purchase 13mm trocar if using those instruments.
