The Voyant 5mm Fusion device effectively seals vessels up to and including 7mm in diameter and tissue bundles in laparoscopic procedures. It delivers radio-frequency energy to tissue captured between the jaws and divides sealed tissue with a user-actuated blade. The device is designed for use with 5mm or larger trocars. Many veterinary practices using EtO gas sterilization have found the equipment to be long lasting and affordable for every day use.
Voyant Intelligent Energy System
The Voyant system’s intelligence collects information about the nature of the tissue within its jaws. By rapidly and constantly measuring tissue as the energy is applied, it adjusts to provide the optimal amount of energy throughout the seal cycle to create a permanent, fused seal. This creates the potential to speed up seal times, decrease lateral thermal spread, and reduce smoke plume.
