The Voyant Intelligent Energy System is an easy-to-use vessel sealing technology. Â This affordable, intelligent vessel sealing technology helps veterinary practices reduce blood loss, shorten anesthesia time, and perform a wide range of procedures with greater efficiency and confidence.
Available with multiple handle options, the Voyant system supports both open and laparoscopic applications, making it a versatile addition to any surgical suite. Â This technology is ideal for a General Practice or Specialty Veterinary Hospital.
How It Works
The Voyant system uses intelligent energy technology to create permanent, reliable tissue seals:
- Clamp — The jaws clamp onto the target tissue.
- Activate — The thumb activates the energy delivery.
- Seal — The intelligent energy system denatures the hydrogen bonds within the tissue cells, creating a permanent fused seal.
- Transect — Once the generator confirms the tissue has been fully fused, the trigger is deployed to cut through the tissue.
This technology is approved for the coagulation and transection of vessels up to 7 mm in diameter.
Sterilization
Most veterinary practices achieve multiple uses per instrument with H2O2 Plasma gas or ETO gas sterilization. Standard autoclave sterilization is not recommended for these instruments.
