Suction and Air Insufflation System
The suction tubing assembly is a critical component for maintaining proper working space during the procedure. Begin by preparing your suction tubing with a six-inch segment of IV bag tubing cut to length.This tubing connects to the smaller of the two holes on your processor unit using a small adapter provided by Federation. The other end of the suction tubing attaches to the top of the handle, enabling air delivery as you activate the pump.
During the procedure, depressing the button on the handle delivers air into the patient, which distends the working space and allows for better visualization and maneuverability.
Imaging and Fluid Management
The scope supports both still image and video capture capabilities. Tapping the appropriate button allows you to capture images (tap once) or record video (tap twice) during the procedure.
For fluid delivery, use a standard IV tubing set connected to the side of your adapter, allowing you to run fluids through the scope’s lumen directly into the patient. This dual-lumen capability ensures you can simultaneously maintain visualization, manage the working space, and deliver therapeutic fluids.

The setup of your semi disposable flexible scope. You have two different scope options. You’ve got a 5.8 millimeter diameter scope and a 3.2 millimeter diameter scope. You always want to have the signal connector facing up that will plug into here.
You’ll want to have your suction tubing with a six inch segment of IV bag tubing cut off. It will go into the smaller of the two holes on your processor connected by a little adapter that Federation will provide you. And then the other end of your section tubing will connect to the top of your handle here so that you can now give air as you turn your pump on.
As you depress this button, you can now give air into the patient distending the working space that you’re in. If you want to take pictures, you can tap one for a picture, you can take tap two for a video, then you’ll want a standard IV tubing set.
And the other end of that can go to the side of your adapter here. So that you can run fluids through the lumen of your scope and into the patient.
