Air Adapter Installation
Begin by taking your air adapter and plugging it into the designated outlet on your gastroscope system where the light and air emerge.1
Suction Tubing Setup
Attach a standard suction tubing to your gastroscope processor on one end, with the opposite end connecting to the top of your handle. When you depress and push down fully on the button, this will deliver air through the scope’s lumen to distend the patient’s organ.1
Water/IV Bag Integration
Connect a standard IV bag tubing with an IV bag attached to the side of your scope using a luer lock connection. Once your pump is activated and you press the button, air will flow down through the scope’s lumen to distend the working space.1
Air Removal at Procedure End
To remove air from the stomach at the conclusion of the procedure, disconnect the tubing from the side of the scope and attach it to your suction canister. Pressing the button will then suction out the remaining air.

This is attaching air and water to your semi-disposable flexible scopes. Take your air adapter and plug it in where your light and air come out on your gastroscope system. Take a standard suction tubing and one end will attach to the gastroscope processor. The other end will attach to the top of your handle. When you’re depressing and pushing down all the way on the button, that will give you air through the lumen of your scope to distend your patient. Take a standard IV bag tubing with an IV bag attached on the other end and then that will lure lock to the side of your scope. So now if you turn your pump on here and you press the button that will send the air down through the lumen of your scope to distend the working space that your scope is into. If you want to suck out the air at the end of the procedure, simply take the tubing off the side of there.
Attach this end to your suction canister to press the button and then that would suck the air out of the stomach at the end of the procedure.
