The scope provides comprehensive capabilities for various medical procedures. Operating Instructions
Air insufflation is performed using the attached air pump on top of the device. By depressing the button, air is introduced into the patient.
For fluid administration, a standard luer lock from an IV bag can be connected to run fluids through the device.
When air evacuation is needed, section tubing should be attached to the top of the device. Pressing the button will evacuate air from the patient.
Clinical Applications
The smaller 2.8 mm scope is particularly useful for visualizing the nasal tip, oral cavity, soft palate, and nasopharynx.
The larger 5.8 mm scope is designed for more extensive procedures including bronchoscopy, cystoscopy, and rhinoscopy.

This is the Better Vision Semi-Disposable USB. Flexible scope. It comes in two different sizes, the 5.8 millimeter diameter scope has a 2.8 millimeter working channel. The 2.8 millimeter scope comes with a 1.2 millimeter working channel.
Both have the ability to retroflex your scope back and forth, as well as introduce air or saline through the lumen of the scope along with placing an instrument through the scope. A little bit of a tip as using this when you want to get visualization of a different part of the anatomy. You can just roll your wrist and that will roll the scope around.
You’ll want to download the USB scope app to your iPad. You can choose either video or still pictures. If on video. Just to press the red button and you’ll start to record video and all of your pictures and video will go to your camera roll.
If running air into the patient, you can use your air pump attached to the top of here, depress the button, and then you’ll introduce air into the patient. If wanting to run fluids, just take a standard lure lock from an IV bag and run that to here will run fluids in.Â
If wanting to evacuate that air at the end of your exam, just attach a section tubing to the top of here to press the button and that will evacuate the air out of the patient. Both scopes are fantastic. The smaller scope works wonderfully to be able to go down the tip of a nose or into the mouth around the soft palate and into the nasopharynx.
The larger one becomes a great bronchoscope, cystoscope, or rhinoscope, just depending on where you want to stick that scope.Â
